I've just bought myself a car! One of my classmates wanted to get rid of his, and I thought "why not?"
So when he asked me at school today, and I said yes, he whipped out the paperwork and we signed it. I am now the proud owner of a 1995 Cadillac DeVille! (And the good old Chevrolet I co-own with my roomies) The best part? It cost me less than a monthly salary. God Bless America and their prices.
Some small facts from the top of my head:
- 4.9 l V8 engine, 200 hp
- Traction control
- Electronic dashboard
- Compass in rear view mirror
- Electric seats
- Electric front windows
- 6 seats
- Just awesome
- I want to take it behind the school building and get it pregnant
I'll get you some pictures one day, but it's dark outside now, so just google it.
One would contemplate if I seriously need another car, and yes, I might not, but since my roomies most likely are going to ACC while I'm going to APP/TWR in February and our classes will be divided, it's easier for me to have a car of my own than hitch-hike all the time with fellow classmates.
Plus it's 3.37 times more comfortable than the other car.
In other news:
It is generally known in Norway to joke with my name, since the word 'liv' can be used in different settings. But one of the pseudo-pilots gave me one in English today, and I have to admit it's the best one I've heard to this date.
Cut to scene:
Pseudo: Liv
Pseudo: Liv!
Me: Hmm?
Pseudo: Liv me alone.
You get it? You get it? Liv = Leave. He regretted it right after he said it, thinking he was being an asshole. But I just loved it.
